Mountain View Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located between Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is a short 20 minute drive to Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Highway 11. The Mountain View Bed and Breakfast is located on a beautiful 4-acre estate with tropical gardens and fish pond.  On a clear day you can see spectacular views of the Mauna Kea mountain. There are native Ohia and Rose Apple trees, plus exotic flowers of heliconia, ginger and anthuriums on Mountain View Bed and Breakfasts estate.
There are four separate and unique guest rooms at the Mountain View Bed and Breakfast.
Cherry Blossom Room - Spacious and comfortable, with a spectacular view of Mauna Kea mountain, overlooking the cherry blossom tree, fish pond and beautiful gardens. Cherry Blossom Room enjoys added conveniences of its own microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker with complimentary Kona coffee in the room.
Heliconia Room - Romantic corner room offers a view of the Heliconia flower nursery. Guests can enjoy their own corner of paradise. This room offers a comfortable king size bed.
Lehua Room - Charming decor with relaxing views tropical garden with a queen size bed.
Plumeria Room - Pleasant room with view of tropical garden offers two twin beds.
The hosts are Jane and Linus Chao.  They are warm and friendly and make you feel at home the moment you meet them.  You can feel the warm and caring personality is genuine. They are well known artists both locally and internationally. They have decorated the Bed and Breakfast with their beautiful original artwork for you to enjoy.
